Before co-founding Validus, Jacob was Finance Director of VEF, the UK’s largest French property company. Jacob also worked at Apple, and spent time in the USA as a director of leading US branding agency, Siegelgale.

Jacob began investing (in equities) at the age of 11. At the age of 20 he then turned to property when the UK market was booming and has been a successful private property investor ever since. When not running Validus and his private investments, Jake chooses to train for, and annually participate in, the Ironman Triathlon. This entails a 180km cycle ride, a 42km run and a 3.8km swim.
