Whilst studying philosophy, politics and economics at Oxford University Martin gained his passion for macroeconomics, emerging economies, political events and how these affect property markets.

Before co-founding Validus, Martin ran his own business working as a management consultant in the property, fashion, and film industries. When not managing the commercial affairs of Validus, Martin is a keen mountain biker – the Andes and the Alps are his mountain ranges of choice.
