Trisha Mason – Chairperson

Trisha's life in the property business started more than years ago when she founded VEF. It is now the largest French property agency in the UK with over 20 offices in London, Dublin and France.

After having experienced increasing interest from clients for investment properties as opposed to dream homes, Trisha, along with her co-founders, conceived of a new company which would source the best investment properties in Europe and beyond, and thus launched Validus. Trisha’s story, along with other prominent entrepreneurs such as Duncan Bannatyne (Panel member of BBC’s Dragon’s Den and founder of Bannatyne Leisure) and Sarah Doukas (founder of Storm) is told in the best-selling book ‘How I Made It’, forward by Sir Richard Branson. Trisha has extensive knowledge of the property industry in the new-build and resale markets and has been an investor herself since the 1980s. When not driving Validus forward in her inimitable fashion, she enjoys renovating her own properties and very occasionally relaxing in them.
