Many of the investment properties offered by Validus are in emerging economies. Foreign investment in property by private individuals is relatively new in these countries. Furthermore, many investors are choosing – for sound investment reasons – to buy off-plan properties where completion is a number of months after the property has been purchased.

As one might expect in a new area of property investment, there has been a distinct lack of services for British- and Irish-based investors to re-sell off-plan investment properties in emerging economies where language and other barriers make selling more difficult than in home markets. For these reasons Validus is pleased to have launched the Validus Re-sale Service, where we handle all aspects of disposing of our clients’ investment properties.
